Search Tips
The search box is located in the top left-hand corner of every page on the site. To find what you're looking for, search by:
- Book title
- Series name
- Author name
You can also navigate to categories of books using the menu located on the left sidebar of every page. Point your mouse over these menu items to narrow your search results and navigate to a specific category of book. For example, if you are looking for a bedtime book for a child under the age of 6, mouse over "Kids," then "Ages Under 6," and click on "Bedtime Books."
To locate sample chapters, sample picture-book spreads, reading guides, or free downloads for specific titles, first navigate to that title by following the search tips above. Then click on any of the "EXTRAS" links in the palette.
To locate author or illustrator profiles, visit the Creator Profiles page and click on any name in the extensive of our authors, illustrators, editors, and translators.

I am a teacher or librarian. How do I book an author or illustrator for a school visit?
Many Groundwood authors and illustrators are available for school or library visits. If you are interested in scheduling a visit, please send your request by email to marketing@groundwoodbooks.com. Please include when you would like the author/illustrator to visit, the type of program you wish to have (workshop, reading, panel discussion, question and answer session), the number of people who will be attending the presentation, and the honorarium that will be provided.
